Nokia 6260 Slide announced

Nokia has announced their 6260 Slide handset, which looks to be their most feature-packed S40 phone, to date. Its design somewhat resembles the company’s 6220 Classic handset, only with a slider form factor. The 6260 also sports a new style of d-pad, which, says Nokia “great mobile Internet experience”.

Verizon Wireless Announces the Samsung Omnia

Today Verizon Wireless announced that it will be selling the Samsung Omnia. The Omnia, which was first announced earlier this year, includes Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface as well as Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. Palm cutting jobs to gain ground on Apple, RIM
