Sony Ericsson and Fossil have teamed up to create the MBW-100 Bluetooth Watch. The timepiece incorporates Bluetooth technology from Sony Ericsson and watch technology and design from Fossil. Mobile phone manufacturer BenQ Mobile may be headed into bankruptcy. The company bought out Seimens’ money-losing handset division last year. BenQ said the company isn’t going to support its BenQ Mobile division any longer, which may spell bankruptcy for the operation.

Cingular has quietly launched the Sony Ericsson W300i, a clamshell Walkman branded handset. Despite little promotion, Cingular experienced strong sales for the W600i (no longer available) and Sony Ericsson has been anxiously awaiting more Walkman launches in the US.
