W3C passes mobile web best practices spec

The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) has published Mobile Web Best Practices 1.0 as a candidate recommendation. The document is based on work from 30 organizations, including Nokia, Vodafone, Opera Software and NTT DoCoMo.
It offers up “best practices” for making web content designed for mobile devices.

Sprint Nextel has completed its purchase of Nextel Partners, six months after announcing the deal. Nextel Partners was an affiliate of Nextel that sold wireless service under the Nextel brand in rural areas.
