Opera announces Windows Mobile browser

Opera today announced a version of its popular mobile browser for the Windows Mobile OS. Opera’s Small-Screen Rendering technology reformats web pages for mobile devices to eliminate horizontal scrolling. A shipping date was not announced, but the company said the software will be available soon.

Sprint announces gold, platinum ringtones

Sprint PCS today announced tha several of the ringtones the company sells through its PCS Vision service have gone gold (sales over 500,000) or platinum (sales over 1,000,000). Here’s the list:

Circuit City drops T-Mobile, expands Verizon Wireless

Cingular adds Nokia N-Gage QD

Cingular Wireless launched the Nokia N-Gage QD this past weekend. MobileTracker last week published a review of the device. Cingular’s online price is $149.99, but a mail-in rebate brings the final price down to $99. T-Mobile USA should add the N-Gage QD soon.
