T-Mobile Expands 3G Footprint

T-Mobile continues the roll-out of its 3G network across the U.S. T-Mobile added the Sacramento, Calif., area this week, bringing the number of markets served with 3G to 92. Next week, Memphis, Tenn., and Tampa, Fla., will also be added. T-Mobile announced that Washington, D.C. will be added in November.

Nokia’s 1680 Added to T-Mobile Roster

T-Mobile has added the entry-level Nokia 1680 to its lineup of phones. The 1680 is a bar-style phone that has a VGA camera with video capture, speakerphone, and basic SMS, MMS and IM messaging features. It costs $15 after rebate with new agreement and is available through T-Mobile’s Web site.
