Hospital Confirms Steve Jobs’s Transplant, Denies He Received Preferential Treatment

Nokia-Siemens Sold Monitoring Equipment to Iranian Regime

Nokia-Siemens is reported to have sold monitoring equipment to the Iranian regime. The join venture between the world’s largest mobile phone manufacturer, Nokia, and Germany’s Siemens sold a ‘monitor centre’ to Irantelecom, the state telecommunications provider. The technology allows Irantelecom to tap phone lines, read emails and track other electronic communications.

AT&T Bolsters GoPhone with $3 Daily Unlimited Plan

Today AT&T announced an additional option for its GoPhone customers. Now, GoPhone users can choose to get unlimited nationwide calling with no roaming or long distance charges for a daily fee of $3. Verizon Wireless Introduces Mexico-Friendly Calling Plan

Today Verizon Wireless rolled out a new voice plan called Nationwide Plus Mexico. The new plan gives subscribers 1000 night and weekend minutes to use in the U.S. and Mexico; unlimited mobile to mobile calling minutes while in the U.S.; and the plan doesn’t charge long-distance fees. Nationwide Plus Mexico starts at $55 per month.

Motorola Sees Q1 Sales Slump
