Android 1.5 SDK is officially out

Less than two weeks after the early-look Android 1.5 SDK was launched, the Android Dev Team has now unleashed the Android 1.5 SDK, release 1.

Vodafone Taking HTC Magic Pre-Orders

The HTC Touch Diamond will be available via Verizon Wireless’ business sales channels and online starting Friday, April 10 for $300 after rebate with new agreement. The Touch Diamond’s key features include Windows Mobile 6.1, TouchFLO 3D, a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera, and microSD support for cards up to 16GB.

Samsung’s first Android-powered handset coming in Q3 of this year

Currently, there is only one Android-powered device on the market - that being the HTC G1, which is exclusive to T-Mobile. Several other companies, such as LG, and Motorola, have announced intentions to release Android-powered handsets. HTC Cavalier successor Maple spotted in Germany

A long overdue replacement for the HTC Cavalier QWERTY phone, the HTC Maple, has been spotted on Germany’s CNET site. Next to nothing is known about the handset’s features other that what is seen in the photo. The Windows Mobile-based handset notably adds a BlackBerry-like trackball for navigation and a 2-megapixel camera on its backside.
