Android 1.5 SDK is officially out

Less than two weeks after the early-look Android 1.5 SDK was launched, the Android Dev Team has now unleashed the Android 1.5 SDK, release 1.

Android 1.5 has had some changes to its UI, minor changes it has to be said, but changes nonetheless. The new default look may not be groundbreaking, but the changes are enough to potentially cause problems for some existing apps. This is due to the minimum button size having been reduced from 44×48 to 24×48.

Sony Ericsson: Android Handset Won’t Be Any Time Soon

Samsung’s first Android-powered handset coming in Q3 of this year

Currently, there is only one Android-powered device on the market - that being the HTC G1, which is exclusive to T-Mobile. Several other companies, such as LG, and Motorola, have announced intentions to release Android-powered handsets. LG’s KS360 to be company’s first Android-powered handset

LG have confirmed that the company’s KS360, which was released last year, is to be re-released, pre-loaded with Google’s Android OS, making it LG’s first Android-powered device. Specification-wise, the KS360 remains the same as last QWERTY keyboard. year’s offering, such features include a 2MP camera, and a slide-down QWERTY keyboard.
