Virgin Mobile USA eyes Summer IPO

We’ve been floating the Virgin Mobile USA IPO rumor for a while [1, 2], but there’s news today that the company is looking to go public this summer.

Virgin Mobile USA is hoping to make its market debut around June and the U.S. mobile phone joint venture is close to picking financial advisers for the flotation, an industry source close to talks said Tuesday.

Virgin Mobile USA is a partnership between the Virgin Group and Sprint. A valuation of around $2 billion has been rumored, but that number is likely to change before shares are offered.
