Android 1.5 Cupcake

G1 Android phone users have been waiting for the longest time on when the Android 1.5, or better known as the Android cupcake update, will be released, but thankfully, T-Mobile in Germany has finally spilled the beans on its availability as they have posted this teaser page up on their website. Mentioning the inclusion of an on-screen keyboard, Bluetooth A2DP support, and video recording/playback, this is definitely the Android cupcake update everybody’s been waiting for and, according to the info provided, will be released in May.

T-Mobile USA hasn’t posted any similar info yet on their website, but it’s safe to assume that they shouldn’t lag that far behind when their German counterparts release Android 1.5 to the public. So, if you’re still petrified of trying out the unofficial Android 1.5 update, then you need not wait any longer to get your hands on the official release as its expected to debut next month.
