T-Mobile have said the Cupcake firmware update for their Android-powered G1 handset will be available next month. The new update will bring with it a host of new features. It’s said that the launch of the Cupcake firmware update will coincide with the launch of HTC’s Magic - which is exclusive to Vodafone.
The Magic should come with the new Cupcake firmware update pre-installed. Such new features due in the Cupcake update are an on-screen QWERTY keyboard, video recording, built-in voice recorder, the option to save MMS attachments, and A2DP Bluetooth support.
