As part of a lower-tier introduction, Sony Ericsson arrounced the Z300. It will be available in an American version (Z300a) and an international version (Z300i). Features of the clamshell phone include:

• 128 × 128 pixels STN display with 65K colors
• Style-up changeable covers
• Calendar

The Sony Ericsson Z300 will be available in Q4 2005. Pricing was not announced.
