Sony Ericsson introduced the J230i today, an entry-level candybar handset. The company also introduced the Z300, an entry-level clamshell.

Features of the J230i include:

• 128 × 128 pixels STN display with 65K colors
• FM radio
• Style-up covers
• Speakerphone

There is another version of this phone called the J220i that is identical except it lacks an FM radio. Both models will become available in the first quarter of 2006.
