As part of a summer phone launch, Sony Ericsson today announced the J210i, an update to the J200i. The J210i is a low-end handset that hasn’t yet had an American version announced.

Features of the J210i include:

• 128ื128 pixel STN display with 65K colors
• 600KB memory
• Tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900)
• Infrared

The J210i will be available in the 3rd quarter 2005.
