Sony Ericsson’s Z770 handset has received a face lift, with help from bike manufacturer Ducati. It’s the first time in a while that a phone maker has gone to a bike maker to design a handset, the trend is normally car makers.

Unsurprisingly, it is to be launched in Ducati’s native Italy next month, by network operator TIM. Expect the usual Ducati-themed wallpapers, ringtones, screensaves and the like. It will also ship with a Ducati-branded bluetooth headset.
