Skype has released a Java ME application of its popular client, enamelling low-cost calls to other handsets. It will be available for around fifty of the most popular Java-enabled handsets.

With the first beta, this release will only be available in the following markets: Brazil (Rio de Janeiro), Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Poland, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. Though, be advised this will change drastically with each new release. You can download it from here.
