Torch Mobile announced the Iris browser, a mobile browser for Windows Mobile 6 smartphones. According to Torch, it is a small and fast browser that provides a “real web” experience. It has a virtual mouse that lets users navigate web pages quickly. It also lets you zoom in and out and pan around, as well as use multiple different types of input, including touch screens. It supports SSL for secure browsing and auto-rotates between landscape and portrait modes on devices with accelerometers. A free preview download is available immediately.
