A forthcoming Sony Ericsson handset - codenamed Hikaru, has been leaked. It’s model number is speculated to be the W923, revealing it to be part of the Walkman handset line. Design-wise, it looks to be reminiscent of the W910 handset.

It’s being rumoured that the W923 - if that is indeed its model number, will start to be available on the market by the end of Q2 - meaning it’ll be available from June, at the very latest.

Rumoured technical specifications go as follows:

• Display: 2.6″

• Camera: 8MP, autofocus, LED flash

• Memory: 8GB internal

• Extras: Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5 mm jack, dedicated music keys, situated on the device’s right hand side, stereo speakers, and the Walkman Player version 4.0.
