Asus-Garmin to Debut Nuviphone G60 Later than June

Nuviphone G60

Reuters is reporting that the GPS smartphone announced by Garmin early last year will be delayed again. If you remember Garmin has partnered with Asus for the launching of the freshly dubbed Nuviphone G60. A June release was estimated and it appears that the estimate overestimated Garmin and Asustek’s capability.

Probable details about the Nuviphone G60: We’re expecting the same touchscreen hardware we’ve seen in the past for Nuviphone with a price range that should be around $500. Asus and Garmin has apparently finalized the OS, which would be a Linux variant.

We’ve been waiting for a long time. Even this second iteration (M20) of the GPS smartphone from both companies seem very old news now. In the Asus-Garmin partnership, the netbook maker seems to be the most aggressive party.
