Agile Messenger, the cult-hit instant messenger for mobile phones, has been updated to version 3.0. The application boasts more than 400,000 registered users and is available for a limited time as a free download. The major new feature in 3.0 is the ability to send audio files through instant message (ad hoc push-to-talk). Other enhancements include an improved interface, and bug fixes.

To run Agile Messenger 3.0 you will need a Nokia Series 60 or Sony Ericsson P800/900.

The new version has been promoted through auto-update for current users for several weeks but was officially announced today.
