BenQ announced its first line of phones since taking over Siemens Mobile. The BenQ-Siemens brand will focus on higher-end phones that bring bigger profit margins. The company hopes to offer about 30 different models this year.

New today are the EF81, S68 and S88. A little about each:

EF81

Thin (.6″) 3G handset with QVGA display and microSD card slot and 64MB of memory built-in.

S68

Lowest-end device in the bunch: Bluetooth, EDGE, 8MB memory and a 1.8″ screen.

S88

2-megapixel camera, 2″ screen, microSD and Bluetooth.
