Samsung announced that its new MMCMicro memory card has gone into mass production. The card is attempting to compete with TransFlash which is becoming microSD in the next few months. The tiny memory card measures 12ื14ื1.1mm, making it just slightly larger than TransFlash.
MMCMicro cards in 32MB, 64MB, 128MB and 256MB versions are available. A 512MB version is planned within the next quarter.
