Sprint PCS has officially launched the Samsung i600, a Windows Mobile 2003 smartphone. This is the first Windows Mobile device for Sprint PCS. Features include:
- Pocket Outlook, Pocket Internet Explorer, MSN Messenger, Microsoft Windows Media Player and ActiveSync technology
- Speakerphone
- Advanced voice recognition
- 65K color screen
- 32MB memory (SD slot for expansion)
- AudiblePlayer for playback of Audible.com audio content
You can purchase The Samsung i600 now on the Sprint PCS website. Online pricing runs $469.99 after instant savings (MSRP is $649.99). Look for the smartphone in Sprint PCS stores starting next month.
Ed. Note: The technical model name is the Samsung SP-i600 which makes it different from Verizon’s Samsung SCH-i600, though the features look identical.
