Samsung today announced some new high-capacity speedy MMC cards that should hit the market next month. Besides coming in sizes of up to 2GB, the cards are able to transfer at an impressive 52Mbytes/sec which is a 20x improvement.
- 1GB MMCmobile - dual-voltage support (1.8 or 3.3V) and at half the size of a regular MMC. Targeted for mobile phones.
- 1 and 2GB MMCplus - 3.3V and aimed at digital cameras

- miniSD - 1GB
- Memory Stick Duo Pro - 2GB
- microSD (formally TransFlash) - 512MB
- MMCmicro - 1GB
