The Samsung A990 has been approved by the FCC (ID #A3LSCHA990) and is on track for a debut from Verizon Wireless. The A990 is set to be the flagship 3G phone from the carrier. Features of the Samsung A990 include:

• Twisting display (possibly QVGA resolution)
• EV-DO high-speed data
• Bluetooth
• MicroSD card slot
• 3.2 megapixel camera (autofocus possible)

The FCC approval documents are a little light on features, but with or without the possible features the A990 will be the highest-end consumer phone from Verizon Wireless.
