Today T-Mobile and Samsung announced the T749 Highlight, a TouchWiz phone that packs quad-band GSM/EDGE and 1700 MHz UMTS/HSDPA radios. It comes with a 3 megapixel camera with video capture, music player and a microSD slot for up to 16GB of extra storage. The Highlight also has Bluetooth, GPS, and T-Mobile’s revised web2go Internet services, which feature a new, finger-friendly user interface. It also has an accelerometer, and supports both portrait and landscape use. The Highlight will cost $150 after rebates with new agreement. It is available starting today.
