Information about the Samsung M800 - a CDMA EVDO version of the F490 - has become available. It appears to be a slim bar-style phone that features a large screen with touch controls to interact with the menus and applications similar to the iPhone or LG Voyager. Published regulatory filings indicate it will support EVDO Rev A, possibly making it one of Sprint’s first handsets to support that technology. It drops the 5 megapixel camera found on the F490 to a 2 megapixel camera, but has stereo Bluetooth support, a microSD memory card slot and GPS. Neither Sprint nor Samsung has confirmed any details.

Since this phone does support the CDMA EVDO, does that mean it will work with the alltel network?
