AT&T Wireless beds with Samsung

August 19th, 2003 · Source · No Comments

AT&T Wireless has added Samsung phones to its network–starting off with the v206 (clam-shell cam phone).

“This is primarily focused on the high end. It’s not a mainstream product,” said Bear Stearns analyst Wojtek Uzdelewicz”

It’s mostly dubbed high-end because of its price tag–$399. Other carriers are discounting high-end handsets (like the T610), but there will be no discount for the v206. It isn’t lack on the features, but there isn’t much on it that other [cheaper] phones don’t have.

Look for it this month and at select retail locations (AKA ones in good parts of town).
