
It’s also official that Singapore’s Creative is back with a vengeance. Let me just say this on the get-go. As a manufacturer, Creative is wiser than Meizu, waiting until it has a product ready for launch before leaking anything. The Creative Zii Egg is a definite iPod Touch competitor with goodies like WiFi, capacitive 10-point multi-gesture touchscreen, dual camera (one being an HD video recorder), GPS and up to 32GB of memory.
Inside is the soon-to-be-famous Zii StemCell platform dubbed Zii Plaszma, which is an Android OS in combo with Creative’s Zii chip. The Creative Zii could could be sold for as low as $199. The Plasza is being sold to manufacturers as an OS, SDK kit and hardware.
Creative hasn’t officially packaged the Zii PMP for retail, so we might see a different-looking hardware when it comes out. Right this moment, though, we are reeling with
