B&O attempts to make you part with your money yet again with another ultra-expensive device that offers diminishing returns with every dollar you spend. The BeoSound 6 is the MP3 player in question, boasting 40 hours of playback, a stainless steel frame, a black soft-touch lacquered surface and a 128 x 160 pixel scratch-resistant glass display. B&O claims that the BeoSound 6 offers a “very clear and pure CD sound quality, due to its high performance on signal to noise playback”. It will retail for a jaw dropping $600. If you had the dough to spare, would you pick up the BeoSound 6 or settle for a 160GB iPod Classic instead?
