Two low-end range handsets from Phillips

May 23rd, 2008 · Source [Mobile-Review] · No Comments

Phillips 198 and 199Phillips has announced two new handsets for Asia, and Europe – the low-end 198 and 199. Both models sport a mini USB port – for both charging, and data transfer. The lower index model – the 198 comes equipped with an FM radio. As you’d expect for low-end handsets – both are relatively small – measuring 99×42x13.5 mm and weighting 65 grams.

Other than that, they are pretty standard budget units with no bells and whistles whatsoever. They will be available in the coming months, for approximately $62 a piece.
