HP Rolls Out Two More Windows Mobile Phones

iPAQ Data Messenger and iPAQ Voice MessengerHP has announced two new Windows Mobile devices in its iPAQ range of smartphones. Shared features include tri-band HSPA 900/1900/2100MHz and quad-band GSM/EDGE radios. Both phones also have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, and assisted GPS. A 3.1 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash comes with both. They support microSD cards up to 8GB and use microUSB for charging and data transfer. Both offer a host of business software.

  • iPAQ Data Messenger: This phone has a large touch display with a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard. It runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.
  • iPAQ Voice Messenger: This phone trades the large touch screen for Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard, a smaller screen and 20-key QWERTY keypad.
