BlackBerry’s upcoming handset, named Thunder, has been spotted, and, thankfully, the image is crystal-clear – not a blurry spy shot. As you can see from the live picture, the handset is dominated by a large touchscreen, with only four face buttons – from left to right: Send key, to make calls, Menu key, for accessig the Menu, Escape key, for going back to the previous menu, and Call end key, to end a call, and to turn the handset on and off.
On the left hand of the handset is a USB port, and on the right is a camera key, to activate the camera, music player buttons (play/pause), headset jack, and two volume keys. It will be interesting to see how the average BlackBerry user fares without a proper QWERTY keyboard, having to make do with a virtual one. We know that US network operator Verizon will be picking up the Thunder on its release.
