Palm reported its third quarter fiscal 2006 earnings statement today. Smartphone sales continued to soar, boosting quarterly revenue by 36%. Treo sales were up 102% from the year-ago period with a total of 564,000 units shipped. Palm did not break down the numbers to reveal how many of its new 700w phones were sold.
