Ed Colligan, Palm’s CEO, unveiled some details on new Treo communicators at the company’s press conference devoted to last quarter financial results. Reportedly, the new models will come out late in summer 08. Company’s profit dropped by 24% last quarter, while Palm Centro sales grew unprecedented high. Palm expects to develop success by launching Palm Centro in Europe and the US with other operators (the device debuted with Sprint). By the end of summer we’ll see the Treo update – a high-end communicator powered by Windows Mobile. It is likely to have 800w index. Unofficial sources report the support for CDMA EV-DO Rev.
