Nokia today announced the 3110 evolve, a new midrange bar-type phone that doesn’t push the envelope on features, but does so for sustainability. The 3110 is a tri-band (900/1800/1900) GSM/EDGE handset with a 1.3 megapixel camera, FM radio and mp3 player, stereo Bluetooth and microSD slot. The 3110 helps the environment with covers that use over 50% bio-sourced materials and a charger that consumes 94% less energy than Energy Star requirements when left plugged in but unattached to a phone. The charger is compatible with all new Nokia phones and will be included with more models in the future.
