Today Nokia announced the 6216 Classic, a bar-style phone that has Near Field Communications technology built directly into the SIM card rather than in a separate module. By including the NFC technology on the SIM card, it allows network operators to custom tailor services to the NFC capabilities of the handset. The 6216 Classic also has a camera, FM radio, 3G and support for microSD cards up to 8GB. It will be available in select markets for $195 starting in the third quarter.

This phone looks really good, and for a basic user, with these functions it maybe quite good, but can you please explain what an NFC built-into sim card means? Thanks
