Nokia has announced a “multimedia diary” tool dubbed Lifeblog. Despite the name, the app shouldn’t be called a blogging tool–it doesn’t publish to the web. However, the word on the street says that web publishing is coming.

“The Lifeblog software automatically arranges all the messages, images, videos and sound clips people capture with their phones.

The PC software organises information on a timeline and lets people add to the collection with images from other digital still and video cameras. “

Despite what the press is saying, the software will not work with the Nokia 6620, but another handset (most likely one that will be announced soon).

Lifeblog will be shown off at CeBit.
