Internet message boards are buzzing with rumors of a new Series 90 device from Nokia called the 7710. It is seen as a replacement for the Nokia 7700, which was discontinued before it even shipped. Features of the 7710 are mostly unknown, here is what is rumored:
- No more side talking
- SD card slot (Nokia last week showed interest in SD)
- Possible megapixel camera
- Series 90 device
The Nokia 7710 could be announced as soon as November. Despite the chatter, it is not likely that this device will not be a competitor to the T-Mobile Sidekick–it’s likely to run north of $600-700.
Here are some of the specs from the 7700, it’s likely that the 7710 matches or beats most of these.
- 640ื320 screen
- Bluetooth
- Opera browser (Ed. note, this browser today went over 1M downloads)
