Nokia introduced the 6275i at its Nokia Connection 2006 event in Singapore. The CDMA handset is not part of Nokia’s agreement with Pantech and as such doesn’t include EV-DO data.
Besides lacking 3G data, features are rather high-end and include:
- QVGA display with 262K colors
- Bluetooth
- 2 megapixel camera
- microSD card slot
- Music player (MP3, AAC and eAAC+)
- FM radio
While no specific plans were announced, it’s possible the Nokia 6275i will launch in the US. It’s expected to begin shipping in the fourth quarter of this year.
