The Nokia 6235 was announced today at the 3G World Congress & Exhibition 2004 in Hong Kong. The 6235 is a mid-range CDMA handset, despite being introduced at a 3G summit.

Features include:

• 65K color screen
• VGA camera with video recording
• Streaming video capability
• Integrated FM radio
• 10MB internal memory
• Speakerphone
• MP3 ringtones
• IR and USB

There will be two versions for worldwide distribution. Nokia 6235 and Nokia 6235i phones are expected to be available in North America, Latin America and Asia-Pacific markets beginning in the second quarter of 2005.
