The Nokia 3250 was officially announced today, a day after images of the uniquely designed smartphone leaked. Features of the music savvy 3250 include:
- Tri-band GSM
- microSD (for up to a GB of music)
- Media player with support for MP3, WMA, M4A and AAC
- Symbian OS
- 2 megapixel camera
However, battery life seems to be less than with other music phones–Nokia estimates 10 hours of music play or 3 hours of talk time. In comparison, the Motorola ROKR sports 15 hours of music or 9 hours of talktime.
The Nokia 3250 will sell for 350 EUR when it begins shipping in the first quarter of 2006.
