Together with researchers from the University of Cambridge, Nokia has crafted a concept phone that uses nanotechnology to enable flexible and stretchable materials. The Morph allows users to twist it and form it into different shapes. The concept demonstrates some of the functions that nanotechnology can deliver, such as flexibility, transparent electronics, and surfaces that clean themselves. Nokia and Cambridge have an on-going collaborative effort in place to help advance the science behind cell phones.
