The hot-selling Nokia E71 is reportedly getting yet another new variant, E71i, equipped with some minor upgrades that include a 5-megapixel camera, up from the current models’ 3.2-megapixel shooter. Otherwise, the new handset will also get a slightly new operating system, the Symbian S60 FP2, which was already seen on the Nokia E71x running on AT&T’s network. A new color combination for the device, a mocha brown, is also rumored to differentiate the handset from other E71 variants. The Nokia E71i is expected to make its official debut sometime in October, or slightly earlier at the Nokia World show in September.
