MobileTracker friend Om Malik notes that Nokia has realized that the mobile market in India will be huge (when there are a billion consumers, everything is huge). According to Om, Nokia is now customizing its 6220 model for Indian carrier giant Bharti Cellular. Normally this wouldn’t be a big deal–phones get customized for carriers every day, but this is the first time a phone has been customized for an Indian carrier.
