Sprint Nextel launched its first Motorola branded PCS phone in quite some time, the Motorola C290. The last Motorola phone Sprint PCS carried was the V60v back in 2004. It remains to be seen if this add could mean Sprint will see Motorola’s hotter models like the RAZR V3c and upcoming Q.

The Motorola C290 is an entry-level phone, features include:

• Speakerphone
• 1.2″ x 1.5″ screen with 65K colors
• 32 chord polyphonic ringtones

Sprint is charging $29.99 for the C290 after a service contract and $150 in instant savings.
