Motorola has announced that it’s introducing a radical new service to its customers. It’s going to be providing “downloadable packaged themes featuring music from a variety of rock, pop, hip-hop and R&B artists”. The whole idea centers around a “music experience” that will supposedly be the next big thing.

As long as the ring tones are no more annoying than they are now it cannot be a bad thing. It will be interesting to see how the music should be experienced–we’re assuming a handsfree set-up but those aren’t known for their sound quality.
