Motorola has announced the SLVR L7e, a tweak to the popular but aging SLVR L7. Size wise the handset stays about the same, but it sports a redesigned keypad and new color. Most specs have been upped when compared to the original L7. Its software has also been upgraded and is pretty consistent with the new KRZR K1.

Features of the Motorola SLVR L7e include:

• Quad-band GSM plus EDGE
• 1.3 megapixel camera
• Stereo A2DP Bluetooth
• Music player with support for MP3, AAC, AAC+ and ACC+ Enhanced
• microSD card slot

The Motorola SLVR L7e is not currently scheduled for a US launch but should begin shipping later this year.
