Motorola had a record fourth quarter in 2004. The company earned $687 million in Q4, a 56% increase from the same quarter last year.
Wireless handset shipments of 31.8 million, up 42% versus Q4 2003 shipments, representing an estimated market share of 16.6%, compared to 13.4% in Q3 2004 and 13.7% in the Q4 of 2003.
The Motorola RAZR V3 sold better than all expectations, but no exact figures were released.
