October 3rd, 2007 · Source [Mobile-Review] · No Comments

Motorola has unveiled a new version of its MC70 communicator with integrated GPS. The MC70 is designed for field-based employees first of all. It can withstand all-day everyday use in nearly every environment: moisture, dust, extreme temperatures, the fall to a concrete floor.

The MC70 communicator can work in GSM/EDGE networks running on Windows Mobile. The GPS-version is based on the SIRF III chip. In addition it features a barcode scanner, advanced data capture, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g and Bluetooth. The GPS-version will hit the stores in 1Q 2008.
